YOUTH LEAPS PUBLICATIONS

Youth LEAPS will release its first publication, "Pay for Performance, Precariousness & the Social Sector Ecosystem" by Liban Abokor and Lars Boggild on Janauary 1, 2017. The report evaluates the feasibility of a pay-for-performance model for Learn2Work!, and discusses some of the ways that social finance can help stabilize funding issues in the social service sector.

PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE, PRECARIOUSNESS, AND THE SOCIAL SECTOR ECOSYSTEM

In times of unstable funding, it is often the grassroots organizations that are least resilient. Social finance can be a solution to this problem: It can create a meaningful opportunity for new resource flows to support institutional providers in creating and capturing more value from the expansion of targeted human services by recovering more of their costs through pay-for-performance agreements.
